The property’s stunning $35m refurbishment was completed in 2020, a collaboration between with Australian design studio DBI, the architects and interior designers behind the existing Surfers Paradise Marriott Resort & Spa which saw the hotel rebrand to the more luxurious, JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa. In 2022 the hotel won the award ‘Best Redeveloped Hotel’ in the Queensland Hotels Association Industry Awards for Excellence.
Rapid LED supplied hundreds of metres of ambient 3000k LED Strip Light which showcase throughout the lobby and 5 star restaurant areas as well as feature lighting in each of the 200+ luxurious suites and hotel rooms. Various custom lengths were supplied to ensure a prestige, seamless finish and stress-free installation.
