A new era begins at Lindisfarne Anglican Grammar School on the far northern NSW coast with the completion of the schools new Senior Centre, a state-of-the-art space in the bespoke senior secion of the school featuring dedicated study zones, a communal lounge and a commercial grade kitchen. The centre also boasts a flexible auditorium space with expandable auditorium seating and a major extension to the gymnasium with the purpose built 40m sprint track and elite training centre.
Rapid LED proudly teamed up with ST Electrical & Data, working closely from start to finish on this epic project that showcases products from across the complete range of Rapid LED fittings.
The noticeable stand out feature upon entry to the centre and throughout the common area is the suspended ARIA Pendant Lights, 1m each in diameter and radiating the style of the design brief. Circular pendant rings from the Rapid LED Creative Lighting range, measuring up to 1.8m in diameter float above the commercial kitchen creating an architectural LED masterpiece.
Over 120m of RapidLine Linear Lighting is installed throughout the centre including a seamless 40m length that stretches suspended above the sprint track. Linear lighting is also positioned strategically amongst the ceiling timber panels of the common area in 1m lengths giving a sophisticated, creative effect.
APOLLO LED Hi Bays with PC reflectors offer a diffused illumination above the auditorium and study areas and with wattage selectable options of up to 200w, the output ensures the optimum level of lighting for the space requirements.
Over 150 Rapid LED Downlights are spread throughout the centre including surface mount BURLEIGH fittings and architectural ATLANTA Low Glare Downlights with silver reflectors. Adjustable FREEMANTLE & HAMILTON Downlights are utilised to highlight specific elements of the room while MADRID dimmable Downlights are situated across the space for general residual lighting.
A collection of Rapid LED Emergency fittings are utilised to ensure the safety compliance is maintained which includes emergency versions of the HURRICANE Bunkers and HAWK Batten lights. RAPIDFIRE and RAPID CONNECT Emergency Exit lighting will direct staff & students to safety.
