Pimpama Sports Hub is a spectacular integrated sporting precinct in Pimpama on the northern end of the Gold Coast. The parklands at Pimpama Sports Hub are designed to service the recreational needs of the local neighbourhood, integrating with the site and including a nature-based theme. The community sports hub, which is built across 14 hectares at Pimpama, is the city’s largest-ever civic infrastructure project. With a project cost in excess of $94 million, the facilities and aesthetic designs are second to none.
Over 1km of Rapid NeoFlex spanned the grounds of the facility which contributed to the project being the winner of the 2022 Gold Coast McInnes Wilson Lawyers Project of the Year. Rapid LED had 360° Rapid NeoFlex custom created as a solution to the architecturally designed recreation space and with an IP65 weatherproof rating, were confident that the structure and durability of this product were ideal for the outdoor application. 3000k CCT LED Strip Light created a warm evening ambience in the outdoor recreation spaces.
