St Clair Apartments is a refined residential project where thoughtful construction meets exceptional lighting design to create sophisticated, light-filled living spaces. With 200 apartments across two residential towers, an exclusive residents only private outdoor entertainment terrace and resort style pool area, St Clair Apartments is absolute waterfront living on the edge of Lake Kawana on the Sunshine Coast.
Throughout the project, a tailored mix of Rapid LED luminaires was selected to enhance architectural features, improve functionality, and create warm, welcoming spaces for residents and visitors alike. The lighting scheme includes 7,500 x BERLIN Downlights for seamless general illumination, almost 1000 x BURLEIGH Surface Mounted Downlights for targeted lighting control and more than 400 x HAWK Battens in both Sensor and Emergency-Sensor versions, Emergency Lights and Exit Lights to provide compliant emergency lighting and peace of mind. IC-4 rated CAIRO Low Profile Downlights were utilised throughout spaces with restricted height in ceiling cavities due to their slim 29mm profile providing a solution that ensured design continuity throughout all rooms.
Every element of the build has been carefully considered, from precision structural detailing to premium material selection, delivering a development that reflects enduring quality and craftsmanship. The LED lighting throughout St Clair Apartments has been carefully designed to complement the contemporary architectural aesthetic while enhancing comfort, functionality, and atmosphere. A layered lighting strategy enhances spatial depth, highlights architectural features, and creates a warm, welcoming ambience across interiors and communal areas. Carefully positioned feature lighting, soft indirect illumination, and functional task lighting work in harmony to elevate everyday living while ensuring comfort, safety, and efficiency.
